Simulacrum Emporium

simulacrum (n.) - likeness, semblance, a representation or imitation of a person or thing.

Most famously, the concept behind this term has been introduced by Plato and has inspired many philosophers since, exploring various approaches like distorting e.g. a statue to make it look correct from the anticipated point of view (i.e. enlarging a tall statue towards the top to compensate for perspective from the bottom as one example).

Please note: This site is still under heavy construction and has a few known issues especially on the mobile side of things. Please bear with me, I am on it. :)
